Oh wait, I'm confuze-a-ling you and RT :3dglasses - why in the world would you head up here when there are so many other wonderful places to have gone?

May you be blessed and your trip through Logan be uneventful. :rotfl:
(As if you can't tell, I avoid Logan like the plague, although our last trip there wasn't bad - it just wasn't very nice either.

As a side note ...
119 Days until KIDANI for us!!!! We've broken through the 4 month mark! :woohoo:
:wizard:

So we saved about $1300 by flying thru Logan to Amsterdam than thru Baltimore. So we grabbed a $49 flight on SW. Made it very easy. Landed on time and now going to find our second gate.
:woohoo:

You guys are the cutest!!!!! Hope you have a great time and enjoy it!!!!! Take it easy on the foot!!! We'll miss you around here!!!

** Laura, Thanks for the pics dear!!!! :)

Thanks....

So far so good on the boot. I was surprised by how much the pressure made it hurt.

Going in January 2012 for 1 week. We are newbies and have never been. We have a 1 bedroom villa in Jambo House and our 2 sons ages 24 and 21 will be going and sleeping on the sofa bed and sleeper chair. I am hoping they won't be too uncomfortable, since the trip is free for them, I'm sure they won't complain. However, I was wondering if any of you has slept on those and how bad they are?

my BIL and SIL both slept on the pull out and they thought it was fine. Free for them too so they did not complain. :)

Look at our Brandi -- she's on her way to a dream vacation and still checking in with us and answering questions!! :worship:

I think we probably lost her this time though -- unless she gets free internet over the Atlantic!!

So we are flying first class with Iceland air and they let us into the virgin atlantic lounge.

All of the food and drinks are complimentary.

I'm probably too late, but I did catch you yesterday on your PTR, 17 days! Have a GREAT time! I'll love to hear all about it as you countdown your days to your F&W trip!

Ok we are now on the plane and I will be off the grid starting now.

Here we are on the plane.

Hi everyone! I'm back after 2 weeks on vacation, the majority of it at AKV. I ended up driving to WDW this time and really enjoyed the drive. My niece and I had a great time with only a few conflicts. :rotfl2: (12 almost 13 year old girl, need I say more?)

Most of our stay was at concierge level and we really enjoyed it. I did notice that there are less offerings than a couple of years ago but we still loved it. We did the sunrise safari which was awesome!

OK, so what did I miss in 2+ weeks of posts? I think that I saw that Laura is injured and that Kim may be back? I know that I missed more, but to be honest reading 10+ pages of posts is intimidating.

Hi everyone!

We just came back from 4 nights at the Expo. Our (local) trip was extended as we met new friends at the Expo. The invited us to dinner at Napa Rose and at the last minute surprised us with the Chef's Table tonight!

We're back home and have a short DLR trip in about 5 weeks before wevhead back to WDW for F&W!

Sweet! What a nice surprise! :thumbsup2 I'm wondering though - what's a "lady minute"? :rotfl:

Welcome back! From what I've read, the Expo was a HUGE success! :goodvibes

Much more comfortable than your "average" sleeper. It's the way they're designed (not, really, what you think of when you think of a pull out).

The caveat is this: The sleeper chair is NOT great if you're tall. The sofa is fine (especially if you're on it alone, because you can go a bit kitty corner)...but the chair can be problematic. I'm 6 ft 3 and my feet hang over by a good bit....I couldn't sleep it in it, for a long period of time, and be comfortable. I've napped on it, before...and my feet fall asleep from the pressure above the ankles.

So...bad news hit yesterday.

My mom and step dad were planning on tagging along (but getting their own room) for our trip in about 6 weeks.

Yesterday, mom got some bad news. She's a long time teacher and interpreter for the deaf, who "retired" about 5 years ago. She still supplements her pension, though, with part time work. The class she's taught EVERY YEAR for 11 years, and has run EVERY year for 11 years (because it's a pre-requisite for one of the degree programs), didn't run due to attendance. That's going to "cost" her about 6k.

So...they had to bow out. Kids are very sad (as are we) and my mom and step-dad were devastated. They were really looking forward to the trip...but know that they have to cut the extras out to make ends meet this winter...and the WDW trip is definitely an "extra".

Our group got a little bit smaller....and a little bit dimmer...yesterday. :(
