As of right now...Unfortunately, Yes.You're coming solo?
As of right now...Unfortunately, Yes.
But it could possibly change... Fingers crossed. We are at the point in our lives where it is difficult to pull princess Anna out of her courtship classes. Our school system really frowns on unexcussed abscences; to the point where they doc your grades.

Add 3 from Missouri, please.
Aaron, I'm sorry about Anna not being able to go. We might be in the same boat with our dd. She'll be in middle school then and we might not be able to take her out of school, either.
Add 2 more to Alabama, can't wait!
Holy cow! I didn't realize that it could affect her grades directly. I will keep my fingers crossed.
I agree Jeff. The problem is school budgets are very tight. Indiana uses attendance as a measuring stick for a school systems performance. If a school system performs well then they get additional funding as sort of a reward I guess. These school systems depend on those funds.Gee, and all along I thought the point of going to school was to get an education, not a perfect attendance badge.
OK, some of my best friends are teachers and school administrators, including some right here on the DIS but if you ask me (and I realize nobody did) I think that some parts of the education system are losing sight of the real goal.
I feel better now.
