cushy flip flop

Thanks for all the suggestions!! This gives me a wide assortment to try. Hopefully, I can find them on a 5 or 5.5.
I checked the Crocs site and there are none in the Croc flip flop style in the colors that I want in my size. Thanks though for the heads up on the sale.

I'm also a 5.5 size shoe wearer. My fav flip flops for the parks...that concidentally feel like marshmallows ;) are Sanuk yoga mat flip flops.

They are a lot cheaper than Crocs or Tevas and are very cushy b/c they're made from yoga mats.

Here's a link to order them from Zappos. You can also find them in certain surf stores.

As far as sizing, I usually wear a 5.5 and I'm a size 6 in these.

Enjoy!

When we were at WDW last time, I wore my J. Crew wedge flip flops almost every day. They are really cushy and provided great support. They have two types, but I always get the wedges because they offer more cushioning. I love them. I wear them everywhere and my feet or legs have never bothered me.

I swear by Reef flip flops. I recommend either the Reef Sandy style or the Fanning ( or one similar to the Fanning). The fanning style is a little pricey, but offers great support. The sandys are just really comfy. I can walk all day in either. I have a pair Of sandys that are 7 years old and I can still walk all day in them. I like the Reefs better than the Tevas.

I also have a small foot, I wear a 5.5 - 6. I have found that the croc flip flops are huge. I have even tried the kids and although the length of the kids is okay, the width is too wide for me.

Good luck in your search!

I love Havaianas. They're a bit on the expensive side compared to Old Navy and the like, but the rubber is butter-soft and they're very light! They're also quite durable.

I love my J Crew critter flip flops. I've done 3 trips to DW with them and my feet have felt great! Since it's the end of the summer, I think they're all on sale for about $10 right now and through today they have an extra 20% off final sale.

Teva Mush are great and definitly like walking on marshmellows.

I just bought a brand new pair on eBay for around $12 I think to take on my trip next month.

I didn't know they now come in brown colors. I have a black pair, but brown matches a lot more of my wardrobe.

How close are the sizes? If I wear a 8.5 to 9, is the 9 big enough?

Thanks for all your help.

Another vote for the Teva Mush - they are like walking on marshmallows.

As far as sizing, I normally wear a size 9, but ordered a 10 from Amazon after reading some of the comments posted there about sizing. The size 10 fit very well, but then my feet are wide and with a high arch, just FYI. And it wasn't like the size 10 was HUGE - they fit my feet well.

I was always afraid to wear flip flops to the parks. I used to always wear sneakers. This time I bought a pair of Teva Mush after reading all the great reviews here. They are AWESOME. No problem walking around in them all day.

I have some FitFlops that I love! I have to wear special orthotics, and I can wear my FitFlops with no problems. I am taking them to Disney for our next trip.

Oh, I just bought a pair of FitFlops last week when I was at AKL and love them. The ones I bought have gold Mickey Heads on the bottom and Mickey Heads on the top straps. They are so comfy. I'm wearing them right now.

Here's a pic of the ones I got:

how long before they're broken in? Not the bottoms, the tops. So far cutting into my toe & tight across the top of my foot (feels like my foot isn't all the way in yet). Got a great price on them & I love the support on the bottom but the top is a challenge!! 18 days til WDW - will I make it? Trying to wear them at least an hr a day. If not will have to go with the Teva Mush but they aren't as supportive as they were when new (2 yrs old now). Actually my favorites are my Adidas - like stepping on tempurpedic foam but I need a brown/black pr & couldn't find any end of season.

I got mine last week, and they fit fine. If I remember right, the tag said the top doesn't stretch so if they're tight, get the next size up.

still funky on top. The leather between the toes doen't bother you? Maybe they're not for me? They were really cheap so no big loss if they don't work but I still need a pr of bl/br sandals and impossible to find now.

I love Adidas

I bought some Adidas black/white flip flops from Shoe Carnival about 2 wks ago. They are so comfortable. They feel like I am walking on a thick gel. The 1st pair of any kind of shoes that I have bought in a long time that have actually not made my feet hurt.
