October 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

Wolfgang Puck 9/27 at 4pm

For a Hollywood and Vine Fantasmik package at Hollywood and Vine on 9/29 or 10/1 or a Garden Grill dinner any day between 9/26-10/3. We changed our days at Disney and will not be at Disney on 10/3.

All reservations are for 2 adults and 2 children.

I just called Disney Dining to see if I could add one more adult to this reservation, but they wouldn't let me do it. I'm sorry!

They could always try the "Someone screwed up my ADR, its supposed to be for 3A and 2C not 2A and 2C" angle. It usually works, although be polite.

Chef Mickey's is available online right now for 10/2 party of 8 at 5:00 and 6:45 pm! Hope someone can get these!

Thanks for the tip - I didn't get 10/2, but I got 10/3 and I've been trying for weeks now!

Chef Mickey's had a lot of offerings for the whole first week of Oct. Either they opened up some more tables or they cleaned up a glitch that was causing people to have multiple ADR's.

I was finally able to get an ADR for 10/3 too....not exactly the time I wanted but the right day!

So I have to offer anyone for a party of 4 (2A/2C) (10/5 breakfast 825am gone) 10/6 dinner 655pm. If nobody needs these I'll set them free tonight.

and just an FYI, when trying to change a reservation for 10/1 I was also offered Chef Mickey and Crystal Palace times (several of them) from 830-1025.

Why do you think CRT now requires a CC hold and that you have the card you used for that hold when you check in??????????

What are you talking about? I've never heard of this?

We had to cancel the Disney VISA we used for the CRT hold because of fraudulant activity on the account...Disney sent us a new card but obviously it's a new number.

Should I be worried?

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU to everyone who posted regarding Chef Mickey! I was finally able to get my 2 ADRs for 7 people that I have been searching for. Therefore I will be cancelling the following ADRs in about 5 minutes. I hope someone can use them! All are Chef Mickey for 2 adults and 3 kids.

I'm hoping that with all these Chef Mickeys showing up, maybe someone will cancel a Tusker House. My son's soccer schedule threw a wrench in our well-laid plans, and I"m dying to have a TH for 10/1, 10/2 or 10/3 for at least 4 people. I can trade 9/29 at 8:05.

I had the same thing happen to us so I called Disney this morning and they told me that I wouldn't have a problem checking in. It might be different if you're on the dining plan, the CM I spoke with asked me specifically about whether we were on the dining plan or not.

It's probably different because if you're NOT on the dining plan, they you have already paid, so you could not have gotten the ADR with the express plan of selling or trading it to someone else. I think they used to have a problem with people getting all those adr's then selling them.
