My motto for eating at WDW: Eat till they have to roll you to the plane!!!

I'm loving your reviews and pictures! :goodvibes When DD was young she had no interest at all in princesses :sad2: so we never got to meet them. She has a dream trip planned for her 16th birthday (still 18 months away but she's been saving since she was 13!) and she now wants to meet them. Thanks to your review we're hoping to go to the breakfast in Norway. Thanks for the idea!

Your Welcome :) I think I would really like Tutto Italia , veal meatballs sound really good ! I'm a picky eater but I really love Italian food of any kind

My dad and I thought it was really good and I am sure you would enjoy it as well. Also, there is Mama Melrose's in DHS that has awesome italian food and the theming is really cool!

:goodvibes

Oh, your review is so yummy and fun to read!

Congrats to you and your family on the relay! I too am from Michigan and I think its great that despite the economy here, we are a great bunch of people still willing to help out when we can!

I look forward to reading more! :goodvibes

Thank you! I was so impressed with how many people came out to support the Relay I can't wait to do it again next year! More coming up shortly!

Great pics, thanks for sharing, I am glad you are feeling better!
Thank you!

Great so far, thanks for taking the time to review these!

No problem! I love being able to share all of the yummy food I ate all week!

We love Tutto!!! Jasmine is an Italian food junkie - but I have a sneaking suspicion here it's more for the eye candy than the lasagne:lmao:

I have booked us twice during our upcoming trip to go (she only thinks we're going once)

What can I say...another great review!:worship:

Sounds like you two will love Tutto Italia! Plus there are a lot of cute waiters :thumbsup2

Great TR. Now I know that I have to eat before looking at this one.:)
 Thank you!

Oh I am so glad I could help! I know she will have an amazing time!

Great reviews so far! Keep 'em coming! :goodvibes
Thank you!

Actually my mom didn't eat anything besides some bread. She thought everything looked really gross and the spaghetti and meatballs have veal meatballs so even that didn't appeal to her.

haha your mom and my mom sound exactly the same when it comes to food! :rotfl: I can't imagine what they'd eat if they went out to eat together. :lmao:

This morning I was allowed the chance to sleep in so my mom and dad went to breakfast at Sassagoula Floatworks. I had packed myself some single serving cereals so I could save my Counter Service Credits for dinner.

Another picture of one of the Mardi Gras props.
foodporn093.jpg

He reminds me of the court jester from The Hunchback of Notre Dame

They both had the same platter for breakfast and were kind enough to bring the camera and take a picture for me
foodporn094.jpg

My parents both enjoyed their breakfast! Also my mom wanted to add that she reads on the DIS that the platters are big enough to share and she doesn’t believe that they are! She had just enough food and definitely wouldn’t have had enough to share with someone else!

Now I am not sure if everyone knows this but when you use the dining plan for a counter service breakfast you can get two drinks. This came in handy since my parents bought two mugs and their breakfast drinks would go in the fridge for when I wanted them. It saved us some money when it came to buying drinks!

OOP: $22
DDP: 2 counter service credits
Grade: A
Comments: In the morning it was very quiet in the cafeteria and it was nice to start off a day at Disney with a very relaxing meal.

Now I had heard tons of stuff about this restaurant on the DISboards so I knew I had to eat here while we were in Disney!
foodporn095.jpg

Me and my family love this place!

The decorations are absolutely adorable!
foodporn096.jpg

foodporn097.jpg

foodporn098.jpg

I ordered the Turkey sandwich with fries
foodporn099.jpg

It was sooo good! It was the best sandwich I had all week!

My parents split the double cheeseburger and got onion rings instead of fries! It also came out for them already split in half on two separate plates.
foodporn100.jpg

Their food was also good and they already have plans to go back there on their trip in October!

For dessert we just had to try the ice cream!

We chose the Milky Way Sundae which is a Bundt Cake topped with three scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream, Hot Fudge, Butterscotch, Whipped Cream and a Cherry.
foodporn101.jpg

It was amazing! All three of us couldn’t finish it though!

Next time I want us to go for the Kitchen Sink!

OOP: $42
DDP: 2 table service
Grade: A+
Comments: We loved it and can’t wait to go back! Also we walked right in at a prime lunch time and didn’t have any problems being seated!

YUM! Your reports are great! I think I'm gaining 10lbs just reading them. Keep them coming. I'm also going to go over and check out your trip report.

I'm heard of Mama Melrose's but have never ate there , sounds like I might have to put it on my list for next time .:thumbsup2

Great update :thumbsup2 I agree with your Mom there is no way I could share one of those Breakfast platters w/ someone else , unless they ate like a bird . LOL The food court breakfast 's are a lot better than what I expected though :goodvibes Beaches & Cream meal looked so good , I wanted to go here when we were there in April but I couldn't justify using a TS credit for the meal , I feel like it's more of a CS.

You are the prettiest young lady, and I am so impressed with your planning and your report- I'm happy to have stumbled on this, as I was wanting this kind of detail about the food at the Princess breakfast, I'm planning my ADR's right now for our first MNSSHP with my soon to be 22 yo son, and I was wanting to try this. Thanks so much, you've convinced me to try it.

Mmmmmm, the burger looks delicious!

Thanks for another great update!

:lmao: Yeah my mom has never been very adventurous when it comes to food. I was shocked when she liked Ohana!

 Thank you! I hope you enjoy my TR as well!

Mama Melrose's is a lot of fun and one of my favorite Disney restaurants so I am sure you would enjoy it! At Beaches and Cream the portions are so huge we got away with using one TS for both of my parents.

Thanks for another great update!

My parents loved it and my mom isn't usually a big cheeseburger person. Thank you!

Great reviews can't wait for more.
Thank you! 1900 Park Fare coming up!

It was Mother's Day so my mom chose to eat at
foodporn102.jpg

We were very excited since we had read such great things about the character interaction!

When you first walk in for your reservation you get your picture taken. My mom and I liked it but my dad didn't so we didn't end up buying it.

Then once you are seated you can hit the buffet!

First you come the "kids" section of the buffet.

A cute orange and banana fruit stand.
foodporn103.jpg

Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Pizza, Corn and Mac and Cheese.
foodporn104.jpg

I ended up eating the kid's food since most of the other food didn't sound good to me.

Grapes, Pineapple and Caesar Salad.
foodporn105.jpg

Disney seriously has the best tasting fruit!

Regular salad greens, salad dressing and soup.
foodporn106.jpg

They had a butternut squash soup that my dad really liked.

Bread rolls.
foodporn107.jpg

Mashed potatoes, chicken and parmesan salad.
foodporn108.jpg

My parents both enjoyed the parmesan salad.

Now the chefs saw me taking pictures so they posed for one for me :lmao:
foodporn109.jpg

A couple different types of salad and stir fry.
foodporn110.jpg

The meat carving station
foodporn111.jpg

For dessert they had ice cream
foodporn112.jpg

Toppings for the ice cream, cookies, brownies and rice krispie squares.
foodporn113.jpg

Apple Cobbler and Bread Pudding
foodporn114.jpg

The many different mini cakes.
foodporn115.jpg

foodporn116.jpg

The food was good but this meal is more about character interaction than anything else. Also the meal was good because we got an amazing server!

Now time for the characters. My mom and I were upset because instead of Lady Tremaine they had Pearla!? Come on now who wants to see a mouse when you could have the evil stepmother! So that put a damper on the meal.

But we perked up with this handsome man came over to the table ;)

He was worth the price of the dinner

Then Cinderella

Then Pearla

Then Anastasia

Then Drisella
DSC_0701.jpg

She asked me if I thought I was really smart since I was on the Dean's List and I said I like to think so and she said Wow that is a really good answer :lmao:

The Step Sisters were a lot of fun and I am glad we got to meet them.

Now during the dinner Cinderella and her Prince do a waltz together
DSC_0703.jpg

They also go out and choose children to dance with them. We were so happy when the little girl at the table next to us got chosen! But here's a tip if you want your daughter to be chosen make sure she has a Cinderella dress on! The night we went the only girls the Prince danced with were ones dressed like Cinderella.

After everything was over it was time for dessert.

I ended up getting a special one!
foodporn117.jpg

Oh it tasted soooo good! The white chocolate glass slipper was my favorite part!

OOP: $96
DDP: 3 table service meals
Grade:B
Comments: Good atmosphere and a good time if you just want to have fun with the Step family!

Awww, I'd love to have that dessert! :)

Another great isntallment - thank you

You forgot to mention the wonderful waiter we had at this meal! Michael was attentive and personable and the best server we had all week!

***OOps! I guess you did mention the server. Sorry

Great review of 1900 PF. You and Prince Charming make a lovely pair.;)
We are trying this meal during our August trip. MyDD6 is a Cindy fan so it should be lots of fun!:thumbsup2

Great updates! I so want to try Beaches and Cream but I don't think we can fit it in our schedule in three weeks!!! I love 1900 Park Fare. We have had breakfast there and I just love the Mad Hatter. :)

I fell behind but it made for a lot of fun catching up! I'm a big fan of Tutto too! And you're the second person I've seen today rave about the tiramasu dessert! Also LOVE Beaches 'n Cream. Definitely a must do on my trips. 1900 Park Faire looks fun but I agree - seeing the wicked stepmother is part of the fun. Too bad she wasn't able to make it. Prince Charming is a cutie!

Thanks , for the tip on Beaches & Cream , didn't know the Adults could share a meal on the dinning plan :thumbsup2 Not sure DH I could both agree on something to share though . LOL

Great Update :thumbsup2 I love how you even take pictures of the buffet and not just the food you chose , yours is one of the 1st DR that I've read that shows us all the food offered and it's so helpful! I agree with you that at 1900 Park Fare you are def paying for the characters. When we were there the week before you I thought the food was horrible too.
