I just created a Snack Credit Photo Gallery Thread. You can find it here.

It's a closed thread to keep chatter and quoting of pictures out of it, that can all happen here on the original thread. I'll go through periodically and copy pictures to the gallery, maintaining the integrity of this thread, but keeping in line with having a gallery for photos only.

Here is our favorite snack credit snack: the Ice cream Cookie Sandwich at Dino Bite Snacks in Animal Kingdom.

Just looking at that picture makes me hungry. Those really are the BEST!

My family and I will be going to Disney in 3 months and we have decided to go with the meal plan. We each get 2 snacks a day and wanted to put them together and try to use them for a bite sized lunch instead of getting sweets. This way we have more points for charactor breakfast and dinners.

Can anyone name some good non sweet items and where to get them using our Snack credits?

Don't know where you are staying, but our resort food court (Movies) had fruit cups (grapes, melon), apple slices w/ cararmel, yogurt parfait, carrot/ celery sticks and the like which were snack credits.
I know their is a cart in AK/ Harambe that has fruit. Not sure where else.
There are lots of places that sell the big pretzels.

When I felt like an ice cream sandwich at AK I went to DinoBites and the ice cream sandwiches are not on the DDP.

So another year without a large ice cream sandwich.

They do not. There are still two full-service McDonalds at WDW (one near the All-Star resorts and one at Downtown Disney) however neither one accepts the dining plan.

DH just found this thread, and it seemed like a good idea to check it out since we are thinking about counter service plan for several days in May '10.

our first trip no kids -

Dole Whip Float (pineapple juice, ice cream floating on top!) I admit it took me a few times before I was brave enough to try it!!

I like to get Dole Whip at the Poly and take it to the pool bar and have a rum floater added. Wonderful for a pool drink on a hot afternoon.
