But We Haven't Lost Last Years Weight Yet! COMPLETED PAGE 32!

That is cool maybe we will see each other. I see a lot of fellow Brits on this thread so nice to see.

what property are you staying at? We are at POFQ driving down from NC

How long have you been living in the US? We are staying @ OKW, its a first for us! We loved POR and POFQ, so peaceful ... well it would be if we didn't have three boys :rotfl:

Thank you for the T-Rex review! I feel better about our ADR in a couple of weeks. I am still having a tough time since I'd really like to try EOS but would have to give up T-Rex to do it. I guess I'll have to keep it since it is DS's big request. We have Akershus and 1900 Park Fare for DD so Fare is fair after all. Glad to hear the food is good, though!

I'm actually glad to hear Le Cell (desserts) weren't the best - just for selfish reasons, not for you two. I tried and tried to get this ADR but no luck. Hearing the raves all of the time just made that failure worse. If the desserts aren't top drawer, then I can feel better with missing it. Dessertie girl here.

Oh definitely, bought a new memory card for the camera just for food pics! Hubby thinks i am a freak :rotfl:

I have been trying to convince DH of the same thing. He says our card will hold 1000 pix. I said that just may not cut it. He looked at me like I'd been drinking. Heavily.

Have to make sure to get the best angles and shots. Oh, and of the family too. :lmao:

Wonderful report! I just love the mushroom risotto too. I love their steak but I think I like the risotto even more! I too was very disappointed that the PB cups were taken away from Goofy's. We were so looking forward to be able to use our snack credits at Goofy and have those wonderful pretzel's rolled in the crushed PB cups. We were so upset when we saw they were off the list that we didn't get anything, and walked out!!! We did come back later in the trip and got pretzel's and a mickey rice crispy treat but it just was not the same!!!

Caught up on this review, loving it so far! I love all the giant sized pictures of everything, some of these reviews have pictures so small you can't even tell what they had! Now I'm off to read your previous review while I wait for more updates on this one! :goodvibes

Wow! I finally caught up. so much updates in just a day. LOL! I have to admit I prefer the boneless wings too. I like that they aren't so messy. They usually cost more though.
I had a bad experience at Goofys this past March. They were so slow and the guy just didn't make them the way I wanted.
They were good, but he put them in a bag (pretzle rods) and they stuck to the bag so badly I had to peel the paper off.

Great start so far! I had talked to you right before you left... and we were staying at POFQ around the same time as you. Wasn't it HOT!!?? I just completed my Trip Report- I had wanted to do more of a food review because we did Deluxe Dining and tried so many wonderful places- but it was so hard getting all the pics of the food and not just eating it.. LOL (Half of my pictures are of almost empty plates! ;))

Looking forward to hearing more!!

I'm so glad you're back with another FOOD report! I lvoed last years and you're already off to a great start.

I was very upset when I ordered my Goofy's pretzels and it came back with the peices instead of the crushed cups :( I didn't even notice when I filled out the form that it said cups. I opened the box and was so sad. (Didn't stop me from eating them though!)

Also, a comment on the Buffalo Wings. I am from Buffalo and there was a lot of controversy about a shortage on chicken wings. I imagine that, combined with costs and health reasons, have caused many places to switch to boneless wings. I agree they are different if you are truly looking for wings those are not wings! But they are tasty in their own right!

Been here since 2000 wouldn't go back to england except for family as we now have children. Glad to hear you liked POFQ we will be with our DD (7) and DS (4). i was a bit nervous hearing people's comment about how outdated it is but to me it is somewhere to rest and I have plenty of Disney to enjoy :woohoo:

oh goodness ... so sorry to hear that Goofy's has lost some of its magic without the Reeces Cups. That's a shame.

Thanks for the great review of TRex. We are trying to sneak that into our upcoming trip. I think it's a *must do* now that I've seen your fab drinks/meals. That burger is insanely huge! :scared1:

I think I'm spoiled for all other Key Lime Pies now that I've had the Blonde Giraffe Frozen KLP on a stick! LOL! That stuff was heavenly! Sorry yours didn't measure up... Key Lime Mousse does not sound *right*

Looking forward to your next installments. I love reading your foodie reports!

Loving your review, you have me drooling even after finishing a big dinner here at home!

Oh, and I just noticed this week that we have a Tony Romas down the street from us! I'm thinking we'll go try it (although the Canadian version may not live up to Orlando's version) - you have so much influence!!!

Thank you for a wonderful review (so far ;)). I LOVE it! I especially enjoyed your Le Cellier lunch review, since we're trying it for the first time in July (the lunch menu looked better to me, too), and you ordered most of what we're interested in, too!:)

I'm glad your resort stuff was fixed by Disney, but so sorry you had to deal with that -- how awful...:sad2:

Can't wait for your next post! Thanks for taking all the great photos & rating the dishes (even if it makes people look at you funny :rotfl:) -- I really appreciate it!:)

Sonya - as I mentioned on the cruise we did get the rice krispy treat on based on your review. We stuck it in our fridge at OKW and when we took it out we couldn't even cut it with our plastic knife. We let it sit out for a couple of hours and we were able to use a plastic fork to break off hunks. It was AMAZING!!! We didn't get the drizzle of carmel because I wasn't sure it wouldn't be the runny kind and I like firm carmel.

We never made it to Ghiradelli but the mint/chocolate sundae is my favorite as well. Hmmm, may have to figure out how to get Jim to take us to Tony Romas for dinner and then drive to SF for dessert.

I've been waiting for you to start this report! I loved your last one!

:rotfl2: at the people around you at LeCellier!!

and ITA with you about the burned sugar on a creme brullet - its a fine line between bitter and amazing!

Yours is the best review of TRex - both of pictures and food!! :thumbsup2
