"You take the good, you take the bad, you take 'em both and then you have the Facts of Life!!!!"

And George Clooney with his mullet-ish hair...he brought a new level of HOT to that show for the last season or two.

I used to watch that religiously. But it STILL isn't as funny as your sleeping pictures!

Here are some Facts of Life pics for you Jordan:

First season with Molly Ringwald.

The first season was great. Molly Ringwald was so young! The Jo years were the best. Do you remember her motorcycle?
Oh yes!!

Hmmm, do you want to guess what theme song I am singing to myself right now?? Um, yeah!! Facts of Life!:rotfl:
You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have, the facts of life, the facts of life...

Just wanted to say Hi Jordan... this thread is hoppin'! And I don't think I have seen you at my PTR yet , have I?

He, he, he -- that will make for one grand finale for your trip report!!!

Many pix of me getting trampled by the masses...:)

DD will be "almost 16" by then...
we are going home before the 4th of July madness. :3dglasses
...save us a few stools at the ESPN bar! :cool1:

Pull up a stool and have a few. Then we can go hunting for drunks.....

Love the sleeping photos J, so did Erin like you sleeping with her Tiger? :rotfl:

I'm sure she didn't enjoy me sleeping with the tiger. She usually isn't really attached to it, but she chose to bring it on vacation and loved having it.

Great update and pics.

too bad I missed the facts of Life talk I have the dvd's. I loved that show. I remember when Molly Ringwald was on it in the first season. before Jo came on.

Have a good one.

I just remember Blair and Tootie's tooties.;)

My thoughts exactly

Just wanted to say Hi Jordan... this thread is hoppin'! And I don't think I have seen you at my PTR yet , have I?

I didn't know you had one.......

Jordan! Thanks for introducing us to Matt! How fun that you have your own bartender when you go there - almost like Cheers! :thumbsup2

Ok, back for a quick update. Sorry if some of these responses were from long ago... Yeah - it's cool that Matt has been here for us (mostly Jordan) for all these years... it would be weird to work somewhere where your "regulars" only come once a year or every other year... crazy. We also used to have a "regular" waitress at the Adventurers Club (back when we were young enough to frequent Pleasure Island)... her name was Ramona and she worked there for years. Crazy.

How's Wendy doing? Isn't it getting close to her due date?

I have 6 more working days after today... can't wait but I'm way behind at work so that's a drag. Too much to do, not enough time (nor motivation). But I should make it that long b/c I'm not dilating (shocker, I know - same ol' same ol' with my other two too...) so I'm pretty sure I'll be induced again this time. Planning for 8/7. :thumbsup2

I think you should start your ptr soon :rolleyes1

No PTR until this one gets finished!!! I can't handle two Jordan threads!!!:rotfl2:

I agree. I have forbidden Jordan to start a PTR or otherwise this one will NEVER get finished. Hee hee.

Thats great that you and Kim took care of Dylan while they went to have a nice breakfast at Cindys! I bet Erin loved it! Cant wait to hear about it from Wendy! Did she have the baby yet? :cutie:

Cindy's was great (forewarning: tons o' pix)... Erin enjoyed it thoroughly. Was nice to have a special lunch just for her and then later that night we had one on one time with Dylan. Gotta share, ya know.

No baby yet :rolleyes1 But I'm ok with that. Too much to do first before I feel ready to go. I'm ready at home (bag packed, clothes washed, etc.) but work is another story.

Okay, guys.... the Facts of Life stuff got a little crazy on here last night.... :rotfl2:

By the way, do you know that Lisa Welchel is an author now? She writes Christian devotionals and books on parenting and homeschooling. She was a speaker at a MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) convention I went to a few years ago.

I LOVED that show. All seasons. Lisa Whelchel is married to a pastor down here in SoCal. She's really cool I think... very grounded and admirable. So opposite of Blair Warner... ha ha ha.

And yes - so funny how George Clooney started out on that show. And the HAIR!

C'mon Jordan... get those lunch pix up... hee hee.

Sounds like you're busy! I was induced with 3 of mine...........not my idea of a good time!;)
So....is there going to be a mini report on the delivery?:rotfl2:

Chapter 68. Saturday, February 9th. Day 10. Part 2. It's a world of laughter; it's a world of peeps.

So when I last left you we had made it into the Magic Kingdom. We made our way up Main Street and even managed to take a few pictures as well.

We walked over to Peter Pan to grab FPs. I think it's one of Erin's favorite rides. We sent Derek over with all our tix while the rest of us got in line for It's a Small World. I have a small problem with this attraction....I hate the saying "It's a small world". It's just a quirky thing with me. It's a very large world with billions of people....anyway I won't go into my long tirade...I would NEVER ride this attraction. I didn't ride it for about 15 years and my first ride was after Wendy started having kids.....ANYWHO.....

So I can stomach it now.

Here we are as we get in line. The line actually ran a few switchbacks outside the covered part of the queue. It moved pretty quickly.

Clearly Dylan shares my distaste for the phrase, "It's a Small World":
wdwfeb2008451.jpg

Fortunately for both Dylan and me, the attraction was over pretty quickly. We disembarked and went out to find the stroller only to find it missing...:scared1: :scared1: Fortunately, Derek had just parked it illegally and some CMs had moved it to the appropriate parking location.

We had to use the restrooms.....Restroom Rating Alert!!!!!

wdwfeb2008452.jpg

I have used these restrooms before and not been that pleased with the cleanliness or smell, but today............

As you can see from my surprised look:
wdwfeb2008453.jpg

It rated the hard to get single flush!!!!! I'm sure it was a fluke.

Derek, Wendy and Erin had to head over to Cinderella's Royal Table and Kim, Dylan and I were going to meet Josh, Robo and Baby J for lunch before they left for the airport.

Up next: Lunch with every human on Earth.

All the peeping gives me a hankerin' for chicken...

"I feel like chicken tonight, like chicken tonight"

There's another annoying song. But at least it replaced the other one that was going through my head... (I tend to agree with Dylan, with the hands over the ears.)

IMG_0532.jpg

oh, my.......don't say that! it brings back too many bad memories. i actually did break my arm when i was 4 while acting like a monkey on some bars. and i have a ginormous scare on my right elbow to prove it. long story short, they had to re-break my arm because when they set it it was GROWING BACK CROOKED :-)eek: ) and then put two huge pins in it until it grew back right. lots of fun for a 4-year-old!!!

i did this too and i'm not even a peep!!!! i rode this in september for the first time in a long time because i was with a disney newbie and apparently it's a requirement for them, and all of my pictures were of peeps.

um.......sounds like fun.

oh man, I have been so busy working on my trip scrapbook that I haven't been reading and you did 2 reports!!!!!!!!!!

HOW can you not enjoy its a Small world? :scared1: that is just DISNEY MAGIC in its purest form! :cloud9:

and yes after 15 years with my Marine Corps husband you really see what a SMALL world it is, when you can be literally halfway around the world and run into a friend from High school. Or you can be on vacation in DISNEY WORLD waiting for Wishes and this lady comes over in front of you to take a picture of the castle and you see its the wife of your husbands college roommate. They live near Chicago.

YES it truly is a SMALL WORLD!:wizard:

I can't wait to hear about Peter Pan. We didn't get to do that one because everytime we were over there the wait was over 45 min we weren't about to waste a FP for that. We had a rule that anything with a wait over 30 min we skiped and this was only 1 of 3 rides we had to skip the whole trip.
