Rainbow Bridge

Our sweet wonderful Buddy crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this morning. It was sudden and unexpected. DH was home when it happened and we think that he had a heart attack. He was fine when I left for work this morning. His usual happy go lucky self. Buddy was the sweetest gentlest doxie in the house. His favorite place during dinner was right by chair, just hoping that mom would "accidentally" dropped a little morsel his way. He got along with everyone and he was only 12 years old. Right now I know he is running through the fields playing with Anni, Katie and Monty that went before him. I will miss him so much.

My cat had a heart attack too, and I can honestly say it was the scariest thing I have ever seen. I wish I could forget it.

I'm so very sorry. My Dakota had a heart attack last year, I was with him and honestly I thought he went very peacefully. He didn't suffer.

I'm sure Buddy is running healthy and happy over the Bridge right now...

We lost our black Labrador Lewie on Saturday from bloat. It was also very sudden. He was 11 1/2.

They leave a hole in our hearts, don't they?

We lost our yellow lab Fred on Wednesday night, DD is heartbroken. We celebrated his 12th birthday on Tuesday night with dog bones and cake for us. It was such a shock and I think that makes it harder.
