I have been anxiously awaiting my room assignment and it finally happened!!!

4. Are you happy with your room or do you feel you got a “leftover”? Happy, but isn’t the point of GTY that it’s the leftovers!! Lol
I feel when you get an accessible room, it’s a leftover. This room is back of ship, so big balcony! Very Happy with that.

Is it possible to change your room after it’s assigned with a GTY rate?

No, not in most cases (without paying) that's why it's a a GTY rate. If you want a specific room or location, it's best to book a regular rate. You may be able to upgrade at the port, but that will basically negate any savings you got by booking the GTY rate.
